We pray that your holidays have been filled with love, peace & health. We are getting over our illnesses that brought us down on Christmas – but even then we can truly say God is our hope & strength. Having our children here to take care of us, has been marvelous. We certainly apologize to friends and families we haven’t seen due to schedules, or unforeseen circumstances – but please know we love you and look forward to another opportunity to be with you all.
As I rose this morning to a sunshine San Diego Morning, I was reminded of the blessings throughout the year & years that our God has graced us with. I am actually excited about ‘today’! Usually people are looking forward to the New Year to make resolutions or changes in their lives, but I am totally sold on the knowledge
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” (Philippians 4:11 – NIV)
Don’t get me wrong there is an anticipation of newness with the year change – but I think that God’s will is that we do what must be done without reservation of a calendar date. Changes, victories & new adventures can happen daily. His voice is calling to you to make the best of your day, situation and time you have to show your light! We can give Christ the glory when we fully submit our lives to His will and echo “I have learned to be content”.
The world is never “content” with what situations they’re in! They are always looking for the next big purchase, promotion or adventure. People seldom stop to thank God for what He has already done in their lives! We forget that ‘stuff’ is only temporary, the eternal things are those that bring satisfaction to one’s life. We can not be like the world to live in the darkness of their desires. But we are children of light, so ‘Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven’.
On behalf of our family, we pray that God grants you & yours blessings, miracles & prosperity “today” and in the new year!
We Love You
