14Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matt 5: 14 – 16 (KJV)

“Shine In Darkness”

Jesus speaking at the “Sermon on the Mount” reminds us that we have a light that shines within each of us. It our responsibility to express that light by showing love and care to those we influence.

In this atmosphere of darkness our lights must shine brighter than the night that surrounds our world.

You may not realize the dark situations that students experience on a daily basis. Your light of love and care can bring hope to those situations.

You have been set on a hill, so let your light so shine, every opportunity you get.
